What's wrong with this picture

OK, I am so freakin' mad at my Sister... I mean,, ok, here it goes in a nut shell

I get a call last night at 9:30 (I am in my PJ's and in the bed)(before mid nite for the 1st time in 2 weeks)
Someone calles to inform me that my neice is at the local Crawfish Festival and is working as a "Carnie" a freaking carnival hand at a balloon booth... I know, so far it dont sound that bad...
Then they proceed to tell me that she has lied about her age to the Man at the booth, and told him that she needed $$$ (she dont need a dam thang)she tells him she is 17...
She is standing on the table , hollering at poeple to come and play games and give her money sitting there by her self with this snaggled tooth, bubble gutted, no shaving bald, 300 pound MAN, OK,

OH Did I mention that she is "14" yes fourteen years old.....

She has set her self up to be kidnapped, raped and killed,,, Shes a smart one aint she!!!

She was also EXPELLED from school (a christian school) for the year because she said that she wanted to cut the teachers throat or some crap like that....

SHE IS 14

Let me just say , it's always very hard to say good by to an older person that you know they have lived their life to the fullest, but it is totally different to say good buy to a 12 year old child.. and that is what My very good friend Allison had to do Monday.

Allison and I were classmates all the way to graduation.. we were also preganant at the same time, in the doctors off every month together and were due the same month. I gave birth to K on September 6 and Allison to Aaron on September 23 of 1993. They were both healthy happy babies.

Aaron came down with RSV when he was 8 months old, and long story short he did not recover. He has been in a vegitative state for 12 years
For the longest time I did not know what to say to Allison and would run and hide if I saw her, but K and I received an invitation he Aaron's 1st birthday party and I just had to go.. We did and it was wonderful,,, all my fears were lifted upon meeting Aaron, he was a wonderful blessed child, that God just had different plans for!! The day of the party Allison asked me something, I never thougth much about, but now I do, she asked me if Kate could open Aaron's birthday presents for him... How special this was to me and my daughter, she opened his birthday gifts for many years to come and presented each one to him unwrapped with all the love a child could!!!

But Now he is in the lap of Jesus and is now once again, Happy and Healthy.

Though Allison and all her family and friends know he is happy, it is always so very hard to say good by to a child.. My heart breaks for my friend..

Let Me Try It Again

Hey everyone
sorry i have not been bloggin, i have been busy...

then you will know about my Friday nite, so I will move on.

Saturday my friend K and I headed to Shreveport to see our men folk, they were there for a week working so we thought we would go and make a night of it. It was nice to get away from the house and have no kids, we went to Bass Pro with the men and when they headed to work (they were working graveyards) we went and did a little shopping and then went to Joe's Crab Shack to eat... it was soooo good!!! The headed home Sunday!! No Biggie!!

My daughter is in the 7th grade and they are haveing to do a family tree project, WELL, how much do you think a 12 year old knows about her family tree... NOTHING, so who is doing all of this mess... Yep, yougot it dear old MOM... I hate it when teachers asign stuff to the kids that they know fool well it will fall mostly on the parents..
But I now think we have it lined out!! I hope anyway

My son dropped one of his classes at ULM, he is still having a hard time.. I hope he lines it out.. he has been researching what it is he really wants to major in and calls me today and says "I have to transfer to Tech" and take some classes at Grambling" UGH!!! I jsut dont think he is ready!! I guess I gotta let go sometime or another.

My hubby is starting to irritate me, I gave him from September to March 1st to get hunting and what ever else that may apply to that out of his system and here is it March 15th and he still has not done a darn thing around the house to finish up our remodeling job... I told him today that i was starting to get a bit mad,,, I bet if I hold out on the "Goodie Goodie" he just might get busy! what do you think??
